Dig for A Place To Grow

Are you helpful, approachable and interested in your local community?

A Place to Grow, Blaby District Council's community garden in Enderby supporting health and wellbeing, is looking for volunteers to help make the garden look amazing as the summer begins.

Digging, weeding and general garden-related activities are needed on the volunteering day, taking place on Friday 22nd June from 9:30am-4:00pm Tea, coffee and water/squash will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a packed lunch for the day.

A Place To Grow is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and give the important community garden some tender loving care.

Anyone interested in attending the volunteering day can contact the Health and Leisure Services Team on 0116 272 7544 or email leisure@blaby.gov.uk.
