New Scheme at A Place to Grow

A Place To Grow community project in Enderby is working with local GP surgeries across Blaby District to offer Green Social Prescribing - a scheme designed to benefit people with a physical activity or well-being need. You can also register your interest in the scheme without a GP referral (see below).
The programme for individuals is made up of weekly 1.5 hour sessions over 12 weeks, run by Elizabeth Stone Gardens. Activities to look forward to include planting seeds and vegetables, plant identification, pruning and even designing your own garden. This will help you to increase your confidence and enjoy outdoor movement. Register your interest with the Health Improvement Team by emailing leisure@blaby.gov.uk or call 0116 272 7544. The scheme will start in June.

Saturday Family Gardening Club

Weekend 2 hour sessions for children and adults will be running in July, once social restrictions have been fully lifted. Develop your 'green fingers' as a family.

To register your interest in family sessions please email leisure@blaby.gov.uk with the names and ages of the adults and children wanting to participate, and tell us whether you prefer morning or afternoon slots.
