Are you a local resident? Are you looking to improve your health & fitness? This friendly, sociable, low intensity class may well be the one for you! The 'Keep Moving' fitness class in Countesthorpe has undergone recent changes and is happy to accept new people. The class runs from Countesthorpe Village Hall on Thursdays 11am-12noon and costs £2.80 per session.

Blaby District Council have been working with attendees to develop the class and ensure that it meets the needs of those who go. This has included changing the name and focus of the class which users describe as: 'A gentle circuits class with a few extras focussing on maintaining fitness, health and well-being into the more mature years.'

This class also forms part of a network of community exercise classes across the district which link to the Exercise Referral scheme, which means it is suitable for people of all abilities including those with some long term medical conditions. For more information about the class and how you can take part please get in touch with the Health & Leisure team at Blaby District Council by emailing leisure@blaby.gov.uk or phoning 0116 272 7703. Feel free to download a flyer using the link below.
