The annual open day at Blaby District Council's community garden, A Place to Grow, has been set for Saturday 9 July, from 11am-2pm.
Taking place in the garden at Mill Lane, Enderby, LE19 4LX, the open day will showcase the fantastic work that has been undertaken by selfless volunteers.
There will be a Tai Chi taster session from 11:30am, while the Enderby Junior Band and a Teddy Bears Picnic will take place from midday.
Activities also include face painting, garden games, children's planting activities and a Bric a Brac stall with a traditional tombola. Plants and produce from the garden will also be on sale to help raise funds for the project.
Cakes, refreshments and an ice cream van will also be on offer for what promises to be a brilliant local family outing.
Supporting positive health and wellbeing, A Place to Grow is a free to use sustainable community garden. The project encourages people to learn new skills by producing and eating healthy food, being physically active, getting involved in the community and meeting new people in a friendly, informal and safe environment.
